Altavia Japan News release for the 3rd Shinjuku Art Brut Exhibition, supporting artists with disabilities and elderly artists.
What is “Art Brut”?
Art Brut” is a French term meaning “raw art.” It is often described as art created by individuals without formal art education or expressions uninfluenced by existing artistic trends. While interpretations vary in modern times, one perspective views Art Brut as a fusion of welfare and art, emphasizing diversity and the importance of individual expression.
